We are devoted sisters and postpartum doulas serving Foxboro, MA and surrounding areas, passionate about offering support to new families. Our journey began while we were both in search of new career paths and as we thought about what we truly desired from life. United by our passion for newborns and infants and driven by a desire to assist others in confidently and compassionately navigating the initial stages of motherhood, we embarked on establishing a Postpartum Doula business. We take pride in our commitment to fostering nurturing environments, whether through daytime or nighttime support.
Our approach is rooted in empathy and understanding. We believe that every family's story is unique, and we aim to listen and adapt to your specific needs. We acknowledge the significant need of postpartum care in providing mothers with support that is often lacking. We are Tara and Nicole, sisters of The Haven. Our family has always been close, but our bond has strengthened over the years by our children. Between us, we have ten kids! Along with wonderfully dedicated parents, we also have a younger brother. It's our hope that in working with you, we'll extend this familial warmth and closeness.

“Hi! I’m Tara Ivatts, co-founder of The Haven Postpartum. My husband, Billy, and I have been married for 16 years and we are the proud parents of our seven children: Liam, Hadley, Quincy, Grogan, Callahan, Oakley, and Leighton; and our dog, Utah. We enjoy traveling across country and attending sporting events in our spare time. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and I have been a nurse for 16 years. I am a Certified Postpartum Doula and an American Heart Association CPR Instructor.”

“Hello! I’m Nicole Brown, co-founder of The Haven Postpartum. I’ve been happily married to my supportive husband, TJ, for 10 years, and together we have three amazing children: Elena, Thomas (T.J.), and Olivia. I enjoy spending time with my family and have recently taken up golf with my husband. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science and a Master’s of Education. After spending 14 years in special education, I now work as a developmental specialist for early intervention. Additionally, I am a CAPPA certified postpartum doula, Lactation Educator, and a Pediatric Sleep Consultant. I am CPR certified with the American Heart Association.“
